The Annual Meeting 2011 of the SEALG will take place in Cambridge, UK, on 9-10 September 2011, in collaboration with the 26th ASEASUK Conference.
On Friday, we will meet at the Library of the Centre of South Asian Studies at 14:45 hours. The Centre's archivist, Dr Kevin Greenbank will give us a presentation on the Centre's film and oral history collections.
Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to view a display of archives exhibits, including art work, photographs, etc. set out by Rachel Rowe, librarian at the Centre of South Asian Studies.
On Saturday morning, our AGM will take place at Magdalene College. We will meet at 9:00 hours in front of Cripps Court. After the AGM, participants have the opportunity to speak to publishers and booksellers specialising in Southeast Asia, and to attend research presentations at the ASEASUK Conference at Magdalene College.
